WHAT WE DO
Our approach is to help you to bring your project from inception to fruition as efficiently as possible
DESIGN AND PLANNING
Following a successful initial appointment and an accepted quote, the next stage is to begin to physically start the design work for your project.
Several things need to be considered at this stage, these include:
-Ensuring the design is suitable for the remit
-Ensuring that the design is sympathetic and complimentary to the existing property/structure
-Considering the flow and usage of the new space(s)
-Designing a scheme that has the very best chance of being permitted by Local Authority planning department

Our experience allows us to give your project the best chance of getting off the ground, with thoughtful, considerate design that can physically be built. We have working relationships with all Local Authorities throughout Hampshire and will help to guide you through the Planning process, including submitting the planning application on your behalf.

BUILDING REGULATIONS
Once we have guided you through the planning process, the next step in readying the project for 'breaking ground' on-site is to prepare the Building Regulation drawings.
​
Building regulations set standards for the design and construction of buildings to ensure the safety and health for people in or about those buildings.
This is a technical part of the process and is of paramount importance.
​
These drawings will be submitted to Building Control by us on your behalf to ensure the process has been followed correctly and legally. They will also be made available to your chosen contractor(s) to assist with the build itself.
​
All domestic projects require Building Regulation approval by Building Control, even if they do not require planning.
